Using AI in your business

Use AI to prepare. You decide.

AI can sort photos, mark proposals and draft messages. You check and send.

Start here: show the real house, work area and on-site checks.

1 · Winning clients

Photos first. Preview only when it helps.

Ask for the city, timing and 4–6 photos. Check that the job fits your license (siding and wood decks).

Private preview example

Original beside concept.

For serious leads, make a color concept only when the homeowner asks and agrees to upload. Use real samples to choose.

Concept only: colors, profiles and details may be wrong. It is not a measurement or plan. Compare it with the original and real samples.

2 · Doing the job

Measure, photograph and update.

Tools help in the field. They cannot see hidden damage or replace a site check.

Measure serious bids

Start with photos and rough sizes. EagleView is about $40. Hover’s first three are free, then about $59 / $99 / $139. Check on site.

Use one photo standard

Take the same shots before, during and after. Show open walls, barrier, flashing, openings and details. Hide addresses, plates and faces in public photos.

Update at milestones

Text at the start, open-wall check, real change and finish. If hidden damage changes cost or time, take photos, stop and write a change order.

3 · Standing out

“Your house, our plan.”

Use one marked photo and plain words.

  1. What I seeTwo or three visible facts and what needs an on-site check.
  2. What is includedAreas, removal, material, trim, cleanup and photos in the price.
  3. What is behind your wallPhotos of the wall, openings, corners, clearances and flashing before covering.
  4. Unknowns and exclusionsHidden damage, engineering, other trades and unpriced work. If found: photograph, stop, offer options and write a change order.
